COUNCIL MEMBERS OUTLINE PRIORITIES AT GREEN LIVING BUSINESS FORUM
Five Council for Clean Capitalism companies were represented on a panel at the Green Living Business Forum this morning in Toronto. Moderated by CBC’s Evan Solomon, the panel spoke about the power of business to influence social and environmental change.
Panelists outlined their theory of social change, the rationale for this business council, and the barriers to a more sustainable economy. They also outlined the importance of properly counting natural capital in our national accounts, opportunities to accelerate green buildings, and the role of green bonds in financing a transition to a greener economy.
